A good friend’s first birthday in the states–made him a quick and easy cake to make sure his birthday was special. It’s always nice to feel special on your birthday, espeically when you’re so far away from home. I didn’t have much around the house to decorate it with, so I used some Nestle chocolate chunks and flavored some homemade buttercream with some hot fudge sauce for the lettering. The addition of coffee made all the difference. It was a very subtle flavor, but made the cake so moist and yummy. Thanks for the recipe,
